About Polymer80 Direct
Polymer80 Direct: Built from Frame Up
Polymer80 Direct launched in 2021. You know the market. You know the gap: endless blogs and forums, confusing sourcing, too many 'kits' missing basic parts. We aren't another e-commerce flipper. We cut that noise.
The shop is run by Garrett Vance. He got his hands on the first Polymer80 frame back in 2013 and completed his gunsmithing certification at Colorado School of Trades. He spent five years as lead technician at a custom shop specializing in P80 builds, completing over 1,200 successful builds. His proprietary jig mods can shave 40% off your finishing time. That’s the foundation.
Our selection is specific. No cheap, out-of-spec slides. No bargain-bin lower parts kits that'll jam on the second magazine. We test-fit and hand-inspect the critical components before they ship. Every Glock-compatible slide we list mates perfectly with a basic, properly finished Polymer80 frame. No 'close enough.'
We stock the frames: standard colors, limited runs. We build complete kits that actually include everything—including the damn rails and locking block—and we list the OEM source or manufacturer for every slide and internal part. You get data, not marketing copy. You're dealing with builders who know the difference between a genuine Rook Tactical rear rail and a cast imitation.
We built this direct channel because the aftermarket is saturated with drop shippers who've never drilled a jig. Here, every product page is written by someone who's installed that part. Every recommendation is based on a test build, not a spec sheet.
This isn't a hobby side-project. It's a specialist tool shop for a specific, technical craft. We sell to experienced builders and newcomers who want a real, vetted parts list on day one.
